Ramsey Medical, Inc. is a privately held company focused on product development in the blood pressure measurement and vital signs monitoring fields.  It was founded by Maynard Ramsey, MD, PhD, who invented the DINAMAP NIBP monitor in 1976.  After being acquired by Johnson & Johnson, DINAMAP technology became the “gold standard” of NIBP measurement for hospital clinical use in areas ranging from OR/critical care to med/surg. 

Since forming Ramsey Medical, Dr. Ramsey developed petMAP, an innovative device for BP measurement in companion animals, and released it in 2005.  petMAP’s PPO (petMAP Proprietary Optimizations) feature increases the accuracy and sensitivity of readings through optimizations for species (dog/cat) and cuff site for better correlation to intra-arterial pressures.  Subsequently, Dr. Ramsey developed statMAP, a new class of NIBP device for stat vitals, which was released during Q4, 2008.  It is anticipated that statMAP’s unique design and portability will provide its markets a valuable new tool for NIBP measurement…in the field, in transport and in the hospital.

CardioCommand, Inc. is a privately held medical device manufacturer which has been providing innovative products to clinicians since 1994.  The Company's premier products are transesophageal atrial pacing (TAP) systems, which exploit the close proximity of the esophagus to the left atrium of the heart. This close proximity allows a physician to use an esophageal catheter with electrodes in a noninvasive procedure to temporarily pace the heart, monitor the heart's electrical activity, or perform cardioversion of certain cardiac arrhythmias. CardioCommand’s products are used in Cardiology Electrophysiology Testing, Cardiology Stress Testing and Anesthesia/Surgery.

In addition, CardioCommand serves as a manufacturing services provider and distributor for Ramsey Medical, Inc.  As such, the Company manufactures, services and sells the petMAP and statMAP NIBP monitors.
